I am new to GRAMPS so please excuse me if this question has been answered before. I did a search, but couldn't find anything remotely answering my question.
I have used Family Tree Maker in Windows and Reunion in Macintosh for years. In both programs, names and places can be set to autofill from what you start typing. Is there a way to do this in GRAMPS?
For instance, a lot of my research is in Weakley County, TN. It is very aggravating to have to search through the list of places every time to enter Weakley County, TN. If I just add a new place for every person, I wind up with hundreds of entries for the same place.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I apologize again if this has already been answered.
