Family Tree report: 3 bugs

Ron Johnson
Hi, Doug.

(I'm sending it here, since Plugin bugs are not supposed to go in the BTS.)

v4.0.4 on Xubuntu 13.10

1) When "Sc_ale to fit on a single page" is unchecked, only one page is
generated, and only the center of the tree is printed and the left and right
side of the tree are truncated. (Major)

2) Also, all events are printed.  That should optional, since sometimes you
don't want to show that to other people. (Normal)

3) When "Underline call name" is selected, the call name is wrapped in "<u>"
and "</u>", which is great for html, but not so much for PDF...  ;)

The file ~/.gramps/gramps40/plugins/FamilyTree/FamilyTree.py is dated
2013-09-17 06:59:35.

Thanks,
Ron

You can use the bug tracker to report issues with 3rd party addons.

Set the category to "3rd Party Addons".

I suggest that you also email the author to let them know.  Some
developers don't use the bug tracker on a regular basis, so they may not
notice your bug report.

Nick.

Paul Franklin said not to, so I didn't.

And I still say you're not supposed to report third-party addon
bugs there, as I told you.

The same way I also told you that people do.

Which is why, as I said, that the addon category was
created there, to correctly classify such things.

As long as you realize that YMMV, as Nick said, whether
you report something on the bug tracker or tell it directly
to the author -- who is /supposed/ to be maintaining it --
then you can report it however you want.
