Patrice Legoux
Hi Gramps users,

In Events secction, into Citations tab/grampslet I found a mixed of event and place citations like you can see on this picture from Gramps 5.0-2-1:

Is it a bug or feature (seems case #1 to me)?

thx

-Patrice

Hi Patrice

It looks as if someone has changed the gramplet. Instead of the plain
citation, it is now a Source/citation in the Tree view. It also looks
as if it adds the citations from the Place which is linked to the
event.

I just tested it by selecting an Event. It showed the Source/Citation
linked to the event. I then added a Citation to the event's place and
it was added to the display.

Just more information than older versions of Gramps. I had not noticed
it and now must check out the other views.

Why not, this is ok for me.

But that is more unreadable. It's add noise to the list of the event citations.

I had not noticed it and now must check out the other views

Thank you.

The citations gramplet has always displayed citations for all objects in
the tree.  That was the way it was designed.

The editors only allow you to modify citations for the edited object or
object reference.
