With Family Search, I always quote the Film Number (when available)
these do not change and if you do a bit of digging in the Search/Catalog
facility using the Film Number then you will find a complete statement
of the Documents that were filmed including any other volumes and or
filmings that have taken place. If more than one film was used to cover
a volume then there is also a statement of the contents of the
reel/fiche involved. Repository references are also available.

If a scan of the page is available then you can download them from FS
using the button provided.

This method does require a bit more work to create the Source (one per
film) but once that is done the additional citations are relatively
painless.
