Status bar missing

diannereuby
I'm sure I've seen this on the mailing list, but can't find it in the archives. I'm running 3.3.1 on Ubuntu 12.04, and the status bar at the bottom won't appear until I minimise and re-maximise.

Is this curable?

Ta,
Dianne

Perhaps also a gramps.ini problem

Test :
quit gramps
rename .gramps/gramps34/gramps.ini as gramps.old
launch gramps
That's ok => remove gramps.old (gramps.ini is created again)
That's not ok => remove gramps.ini and rename gramps.ini as gramps.ini
And search elsewhere ...

Hi Dianne,

It ought to be nice if you report the result of your test.
