That's not a criticism because I realise it is everybody's responsibility to update the wiki, and I was working on the wiki myself - but had just thought there were some minor updates to the manual needed. For example, the description of the note tab says simply edit the text string (so was from some time when there was only a single note). The source reference says there is a source selection part where one can choose from the the drop-down menu of source titles, or click new. This seems to date from before Gramps v2!!! I would like to add the icons for gtk stock icons (e.g. stock-edit etc.) How should I do that? Should I upload the icons from my copy of gtk, or should I make a reference (in Template.Icon) to the gtk icons on some website (I don't know if I can do that). Is the copyright on the gtk icons correct for uploading to the wiki? Normally you find it also in the svg in the properties of the file (in inkscape you can see it). Benny

Otherwise, there is also a 'art work' category on wiki for some pages !

I don't think so. Gramps seems to use gtk stock icons (that is what the code refers to), and I presume these are ones that come with gtk. (They may be derived from Tango, but I think they are not actually distributed as tango, but as part of gtk.) Anyway, the page you refer to does not seem to specify the copyright of the icon, nor what attribution is needed when they are used. > --- En date de : Dim 15.4.12, Tim Lyons <[hidden email]> a > écrit : > > I can't understand how to find out what the attributions and > copyright of the images is. > This page:http://developer.gnome.org/gtk/2.24/gtk-Stock- > Items.htmlhas the icons on them but the only copyright on that page > is Copyright © 2005‒2011 The GNOME Project and I don't know > whether that applies to the text or the images and there is no > statement on how the images can be used! > How do I tell which is Tango, and which is gtk? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For Developers, A Lot Can Happen In A Second.
